This abstract explores various approaches to skin cancer prevention, emphasizing the importance of sun protection, avoidance of tanning beds, regular skin checks, healthy lifestyle choices, and awareness and education. The abstract begins by highlighting the primary risk factor for skin cancer: exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. Sun protection measures, such as wearing protective clothing, seeking shade, using sunscreen, and avoiding tanning beds, are essential for minimizing UV exposure and reducing the risk of skin cancer development.
