Our efforts were recently rewarded during the ceremony hosted in听the At-Bristol Science Centre, where BU secured a gold award in the 鈥淏est Fairtrade University or College鈥� category.

The strong partnership between BU, SUBU and Chartwells gave us the opportunity to apply for the award and ultimately contributed to the win.

BU sells numerous Fairtrade items in our shops and catering outlets, but products aren鈥檛 limited to just food and drinks. SportBU is a fantastic example of how Fairtrade efforts can be implemented across different areas of our operations; the are Fairtrade certified and this is another example of how BU makes a difference to the lives of producers in developing countries.
