The BU Study Exchange Programme provides a fantastic opportunity to study abroad for a semester at one of our selected partner institutions during your second year of undergraduate study.

Although study exchange usually takes place during your second year of undergraduate study, if you wish to study abroad during your placement year, final year, or at Master鈥檚 level, arrangements can be made on a case-by-case basis. Speak to your Programme Leader or聽听辞谤听聽to discuss your options.
As part of the application process, you must tell us why this experience will benefit you and why you鈥檇 be a great ambassador for 天美传媒. We will also ask for evidence of your current academic performance.

Application deadline
Applications open on 15 May and close at midnight on 20 August 2023 for study exchange opportunities taking place in semester two聽of the 2023/2024 academic year.
Turing Scheme funding for study exchange
Subject to the bid for Turing Scheme 2023/24 funding being successful, if you are accepted onto a BU Study Exchange Programme will be able to apply for Turing Scheme funding to support your study exchange opportunity overseas. More information about Turing Scheme funding for 2023/24 will be released on our web pages between June and July 2023. The Global Engagement Mobility Team run drop-in sessions to discuss the global opportunities available to you alongside your studies and answer any questions you might have:
