天美传媒 (BU) is launching a new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course on Supply Chain Management which will be delivered in person across four sessions in September (8, 15, 22 and 29) at BU鈥檚 Talbot Campus. The course will be led by a team of experienced academics and practitioners,聽and will聽cover a range of topics, including:
- Managing supply chain operations
- B2B marketing
- Smart technologies for supply chain resilience
- The economics of value chains
The course has been designed to help businesses respond to supply chain disruptions caused by events such as聽Covid-19, Brexit, and the energy crisis. The course aims to help people and organisations聽identify and adopt strategies and tools that can help them overcome challenges such as increased costs and red tape. Additionally, attendees聽will learn how to make their聽business operations more efficient and resilient. There will be聽opportunities for networking in which attendees can聽share ideas and best practices.
The course is open to senior business managers, and anyone interested in developing their skills in supply chain management. The standard fee is 拢1,000, but BCP Council will fund 50% of the cost for the first 15 organisations based in their area that book onto the course. Alternatively, Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry members can claim 10% off if they don鈥檛 qualify for the 50% funding.
