The Bern School of Applied Sciences BFH is situated in the canton of Bern which hosts the Swiss capital. It was established in 1 October 1997. The BFH comprises six departments in various locations in and near Bern such as Berne , Biel , Berthoud , Macolin , Zollikofen. It consists of six departments which include: • Architecture, wood and civil engineering, to which is attached the École supérieure du Bois • High School of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences • Bern University of Applied Arts • Technical and Computing • Management, health, social work • Federal High School of Sport of Macolin HEFSM More than 6800 students are enrolled in 30 bachelor degree programmes, 22 master degree programmes and a variety of executive master, diploma and certificate of advanced studies programmes as well as seminars.
