Pediatric oncology nursing is a specialized field dedicated to caring for children and adolescents facing the challenges of cancer. Despite the rewarding nature of this profession, pediatric oncology nurses encounter various challenges, including emotional strain, complex treatment protocols, and navigating diverse family dynamics. However, advancements in technology, supportive care, and research offer promising avenues for improving patient outcomes. This abstract highlights the essential role of pediatric oncology nurses in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to young cancer patients, underscoring the importance of ongoing education, support, and collaboration in this specialized field.
