Abstract

Substance abuse among teenagers is a pressing public health concern with far-reaching consequences for individuals, families, and communities. Defined as the harmful or hazardous use of psychoactive substances, including alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drugs, substance abuse can have devastating effects on teenagers’ physical health, mental well-being, and future prospects.
