Biography

Dr. Kei Ameyama  studied Materials Science at the Kyoto University and after completing his PhD he joined with Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University as an Assistant Professor. In 1989, he spent a year as a visiting scientist at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. In 1996, he became a Professor at Department of Mechanical System Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, and in 1997 Chairperson of the Department.
