Biography

William B Downs's international experience includes various programs, contributions, and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. He is the Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Addiction Research & Therapy and serves as a member of various associations, apart from being an author for many books. His research interests are Stem Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Psychopharmacology, Behavioral Neuroscience, Physiology, Neurophysiology, Neuropharmacology, Neurobiology, Neurobiology and Brain Physiology.

It is well established that inherited human aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH-2) deficiency reduces the risk for alcoholism.
