Biography
Dr. Gabriele Cioni completed his PhD in Clinical Pathophysiology and Aging, Sperimental Internal Medicine from University of Florence. He attended medical school at the University of Florence, Italy. He has acquired skills in vascular medicine, sports medicine, vascular ultrasound and organ, critical care medicine. He followed as a Sub-Investigator multicentre randomized prospective study concerning cardiovascular disease and pharmacological intervention. He got research grants and scholarships on cardiovascular risk, epidemiology of cardiovascular disease and acute coronary syndromes. He is a Winner of the SPORTS HEALTH SISK AWARD FOR RESEARCH EXCELLENCE, 2016.
Research Interest
His Research interests are Vascular medicine, Acute coronary syndromes, Takotsubo syndrome, Venous thromboembolism, Vascular ultrasound and organ, Metabolic syndrome, Sports medicine, Vascular diseases in high-risk pregnancies PCOS and cardiovascular risk. Endothelial dysfunction haemorheology Lipid apheresis.
