Alexander F. Bautista

Biography
Dr. Alexander Bautista is born in Manila, Philippines and obtained his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas. He finished anesthesia residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky and fellowship training in pain medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
Dr. Bautista has three years of experience in interventional pain medicine with special interest in neuromodulation. He is currently an assistant professor and pain clinic medical director at University of Oklahoma.
In addition to his medical practice, he takes pride in research and academic teaching. His research interests include advancement in the field of neuromodulation. He received the Bertram Sears Award for Faculty Teaching in Anesthesia in OU.
Dr. Bautista is board-certified by the ABA, a member of AAPM, NANS, ASRA, and ASIPP. He serves in the OU College of Medicine Admissions Board, the Inter-Hospital Study Group for Anesthesia Education, and the Pain Medicine Examination Committee at the ABA
