Abstract
This paper explores the pivotal role of psychology in advancing health equity and building a more equitable society. It examines how psychological principles and practices can address disparities in health outcomes and contribute to the creation of fairer systems. By analyzing the impact of psychological research on understanding social determinants of health, behavioral interventions, and systemic biases, the paper highlights strategies that can promote health equity. It also reviews successful case studies and interventions where psychology has been instrumental in reducing health disparities. The findings underscore the potential of psychology to drive systemic change and improve health equity through both research and practical applications.
