Osmania University

Osmania University is located in the center of Hyderabad established in the year of 1918 as a public state university. It was named after the last Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Osman Ali Khan. It is the first university of India with Urdu as a medium. Third oldest university in South India, Over nine decades it has grown into one of the major universities in India serving people. It has provided the talented people to the state. The university has its own buildings in and around 500 hectors of land with greenery and the buildings with great architecture enhances the beauty of the campus. It has 53 departments. The Vision of the University is to generate and disseminate knowledge through a harmonious blend of ancient and modern wisdom and to serve the society by providing it with highly talented people.
