Abstract
Cellulite is a condition usually depicted as irregularity of the skin contour. The most common location is the thigh. Many topical agents have been forwarded as a way to improve this condition but there are no peer review studies that show objective improvement, 6 months after the last treatment. The ability to improve such skin irregularities may rely upon reducing the 芒??bulges芒?聺 as well as releasing the tethering of the skin via the fibrous septae. How such improvements can be objectively demonstrated is also critical for credibility and patient satisfaction. This presentation will discuss such issues and demonstrate objective data to show that cellulite can be improved with non-invasive technology, 6 months after the last treatment. An interesting finding was that an objective improvement in the appearance of cellulite was not related to a reduction in body weight.
